“The Tiger & Turtle Magic Mountain” in Duisburg, Germany, is the world’s first and only “walkable roller coaster.”

Designed by German artists Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth, the 69-foot-tall structure features the same twists and turns found in a conventional roller coaster, but the loop-the-loops are, sadly, inaccessible.

Incubator senior designer and office badass had some work in the Letstanbul artist project in September. She did this awesome typographic piece for the Institute of Creative Minds (Yaratıcı Fikirler Enstitüsü).

In 2008, a deco-style fortress built in the ’50s and originally belonging to a prominent family in Santa Monica fell into foreclosure in the middle of an extensive renovation. Until three months ago it stood vacant, an eerie house on a bluff with a homeless woman squatting the top floor. The terraced gardens in back had overgrown and were infested with rats.
